Nice very very nice. I think that is a great looking boat, good luck with your purchase.
I take it your Vyper is for sale. I'll tell CBGNRL about it he has been talking about a 34.
I will also be looking at the 43 in a couple of years when there are more used ones out there:D

I was leaning towards gas with something to get the boat to high 90's (touching 100). Any thoughts??

I'm also looking for some feedback on ride quality and characteristics... I boat on the lower Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic and we regularly get rough water (3-5 foot chop) that makes riding any boat a bit "spririted".

The 43 is a great boat, I have had 2 of them 1-gas and 1- diesel, and was always pleased. What I like about Nortech is... they set their boats up for comfort all the way around, yeilding an excellent ride, with quality through out at a fair price. Truely a custom boat.

Are you going with a std or light layup

trip 600's to 650's hits 100 or
twin 850's and 6's is a tadd faster
trip 525's is around 93

Tell us more of what your looking at, and welcome to the family. Jeff

Vyper, talked w/ friend that his 43 w/ merc 850's was at Miami, hit 102ish and w/ prop trials was told maybe 105-6ish! I do believe he has the light lay-up. Maybe Terry can confirm this!!

I saw that one at the show... It was gorgeous!!!

I also rode a 43V with BIG diesels and Arneson's. That was interesting since I'd never riden on a diesel go-fast. That boat was also gorgeous with it's blue paint job! If I lived and Floriday and got around to the Key's often I would take the diesel boat in a minute! Here's a pic.

Here's the cockpit. The boat did 73ish and would run nearly 700 miles on a tank!

Mentalpause 02-26-2007 05:46 PM

That is a gorgeous boat. Nice job Terry.
