Both email and web address on the ad have transposed letters and don't work as links...somebody might want to tell him.

How bout THIS boat!

Tried calling on it over a couple of weeks ago. The guy said that the price listed was the starting price! It will go up from there as offers come in, he wants to get a price war going by the sounds of it. Started asking questions and when he asked where are we calling from, replied Canada, he hung up!! Was not very nice on the phone, told us that he had a money transfer coming in and two other people bringing deposits.........that was over two weeks ago now, still listed......hhhmmmmm

Scam???? Seems like kind of a fishy way to sell a boat..starting at the bottom and going up?? Never heard that one before. Good luck to him!

I'll admit it's interesting marketing, but Steve Miklos is a very straight shooter. I'd bet he knows what he's talking about regarding boats condition.

That's called an auction and if that's what he wants put it on E-bay with no reserve.:rolleyes:

He is on OSO as Smiklos I think. The boat was for sale a long time before he bought it earlier this year. Look for a thread on the 38 NT and you will find it. Everyone was questioning why it was for sale so long and did not sell. It is a navy hull and had gold lettering on it that said stress relief or something like that when it was for sale before.

I contacted the guy as soon as the ad went up and he was really talkative about boat but after that tried contacting and no response. I believe a friend or a friends friend is trying to buy it is what secretary at his work said. Thats why he's ignoring everyone my guess...

Hope who ever gets has good luck, the boat looks in great shape. I don't know the seller but before calling I asked a few people and the guy came recommended as someone who knows there stuff.............guess we caught him on a bad day cause he rubbed me the wrong way for sure. Oh well I haven't even sold my boat yet so better shut up for now until I am ready to buy...........:D

I have no doubt to that..not disparaging ANYONE...least of all someone who's boat I'm interested in!

Tracy- In the state I saw yours in..its a wonder I'd be looking at Nortechs at all! :D I'm just on the hunt for a nice 37-39 footer...no hurry, just always got the eyes open, ya know!
