3900 Vee Questions
 

What year was the 3900 introduced? Anyone know approximately how many have been made to date? Was the 427 made to take the place of the 3900? Thanks!

I'm not 100% on this, but I think 2006. I'm sure Terry will see this soon and confirm or correct me.

2006 was the first year for the 39 and 2010 427 probably will take over the 39. I think it is same hull just different deck. The 427 is awsome! I was on a photo shoot with Terry and we were able to take it for a ride. It is very quite and solid feeling you won't here a thing rattle.

Yes the first model year for the 3900 was 2006.
Close to 30 have been produced.
The 427 was Nils concept to incorporate some fresh ideas into a V bottom. The cockpit is the biggest in it's class, newer style, fantastic helm design etc.
It's an upcharge from the 3900 so you can still build either one.

I thought the 39 went back to at least 2005. Fastboats has the solid white one listed for sale and the ad says it's a 2005.......just didn't know if they (the 3900) went back further in years. Thanks for the info.

I guess I should have put my reading glasses on.
Yes 3 of them were 2005's.
