That sure is priced cheap IMO. Looks good in the pics. Shouldn't last long.

The NT 36 is one of the best looking cats ever built. Many very good looking boats were built over the last few years (some real ugly ones too!). But those boats are now 5-7 years old and the "old style" compared to the 40 so the prices are going to slide. I like the 36 "Defender" and thought that would have been sold long ago. The white hull is screaming for some fresh paint themes and you would have a brand new looking boat for 1/3 of a new one!

I agree. All I can figure is insurance is the issue. People with extra dollars want a new(er) boat. Poor schmucks like me that can afford this price range have difficulty justifying another 8 to 10K a year for insurance.

Try living in S. FL.......you would dream of insuring that boat for 8-10K!

A blue 36 NT fell of the trailer about 5-6 years ago. It was in the middle of an intersection in front of a Chevron station. The photos are out there somewhere......

Boatlover50 06-25-2010 05:49 PM

Not it!

Yes it is the boat, I called Fastboats and asked about it.

Personally I'd still consider it. If it was repaired by the factory or a reputable operation what the hell? Especially if the price was right.

Hard to justify spending 200k on a boat that ate **** on the pavement:party-smiley-004:........

I agree, I wouldn't pay 200K. I said, "if the price was right". The asking price isn't 200K. I wouldn't offer more for a boat than the asking price either!

Damage on the ground is probably an easier repair than damage in the water. Long term the repair on exposed inner exposed materials to water is much harder to repair.

About $12,500 last I checked for mine. 525's, XR's.
Mine's never eaten pavement and for sale asking 40k less.

Yes. Bottom dollar is $160 complete. Will sell or trade with or witout drives or engines.

mcraymond3 07-07-2010 08:27 PM

I know the boat. It belonged to my friend and we kept it in storage for him the last two years. Call me if you like. I can give you the scoop on it.
