Hey Dayton, did you buy a Nortech Cat?
I hope it works out for you.

Early Christmas present for yourself. :-)

Awesome! I am excited for you. I always wanted and still want a Cat. I like the Nortech also because of the amenities.

I will look forwad to seeing pics of your new Nortech.

Congrats!

If your deal doesn't work out, there is a 2005 Supercat (36) on EBay for 175K, it's in NJ.

Boat price - doesn't matter that much in the long run
insurance - $12,000
new lift - $30,000
minor upgrades (throttles with trim, widen seats, touch up paint) $7,000
engines freshened - $23,000
fuel $4.50-$9/ gallon. Not hard to burn 400 gallons a weekend.

So this was a bit of an eye opener to me. I have owned an airplane and i think this might end up costing more to own.

Would i do it all over again? - absolutely!!

ditto!!!!

Hey Dayton, any updates? That RED 44 Roadster looks like a great deal. 1200hp Cobras for $219K I think it said.

Hope things are going well for you.

I have talked with 3 36' owners from my area who all love their Nortec's . They are great looking boats and the 36's perform very well .
