50 Vee owners: Setup, speeds, props, fastest 50, bottom changes. Etc ???
 

Don't see a lot about the performance of these 50's. How many have been built, have there been any bottom changes made? What is the fastest 50 V ever built and what power does it have? How many have Arnesons and is the notch filled in? Basically looking for all the info on 50's that I can get as there doesn't seem to be much out there...

The fastest that I know of is a ol 52, it ran at loto 150mph with merc 1650s speed on the water has a story on it.

Talking about 50 Nortech's. We all know how fast Outerlimits are and that Jesus Christ himself couldn't build a better boat......

I know it was a quad boat but how much HP? Any mods done to the bottom?

4,000 +! No mods, all were norstep bottoms

Any pictures on the quad setup?

What props do the Nortech vees like? Running 17 1/4" diameter right now, do these big 50's like 18" props??
