4300v ??
Is there anyone in New England that has a 4300 super V, I may be in the market but would really like to see one first.
Looking for a Fast boat but with all the amenities. Also any first hand knowledge would be great 1. How's it handle the rough 2. Cabin head height 3. Any Issues Thanks |

Killer ride, nice cabin.......................the only glitch...............the XR's suck if you go with triples. They break drives like crazy He then built a 50 with triple 1000s and 6's and the problem was solved! |
Do your research on each year and what changes were made. I was surprised by the lack of freeboard on some of the early models. Eventually they lowered the cockpit floor which put the occupants lower in the boat, out of wind, drastically improving ride comfort, especially on long runs. Jeff Jassby aka Jassman here on the board, built 3 of them back to back to back, all with different power options. They were all awesome boats.

Why would they brake xr s on triple? Worst than on a twin? Funny to read my guess would be triple drive work less than on twin ... or i misunderstood? |
It is just way to much boat for a Bravo drive! Twin would be worse than a triple, but the 4300 V was never offered with twin bravo drives, at least I've never seen one. All of the twins I looked at were either NXT, or SSM 6 boats.

I currently Have a tiger t/s That runs awesome but was thinking about a more user friendly cabin I could actually stand up in and have the bathroom, Ref. and micro for weekend getaways. It seems like I'm in snotty water a lot up here in the North east and was wondering how the Nor-tech would do. |

They are excellent in rough water and slop...took a lot to get air, always a softer landing. My last one...Blue One...was a lighter layup but still came in at over 12k pounds. Easy boat to drive and could plane at 17mph with tabs down. The boat was relatively nimble, more of a Gentlemen sports car ( Dodge widebody Hellcat) did everything well and on longer runs was extremely comfortable.
