Looking at 36? Comments needed!

I am considering a used 03 and 04 36 Cat. Need some input from actual owners. What do you think? Compare to Skater 36 & 40? Why are there used 03's, o4's on the market already? Any problems? Complaints? Suggestions?

Thank You,

JS

I dont think you can compare them to skaters. different type of boat. Im not a big fan of canopies, plue the nortech has a cabin and head. THe 36 Nortechis actually 38'. its maynot be as fast with as the skater with the same engines, but with 525's, mine shoudl do 108, which is enough for now, and you can always upgrade and go as fast as you want. w/1200 i hear they go 170.

Did you pick up the white one you were talking about? If so, nice. You going to keep it down here for the Winter? The one you posted is Ozzie's Nortech. I'm pretty sure the reason Ozzie has his 36' for sale is he is going to build a new 43'

No problems at all. The 36' Cat is by far the best all around big cat on the water.

No problems either, I am on my second one because I like to build them. They will run with a skater
