Cyclone in Hot Boat....
Looks good... :D I like the GPS recall at 172
|
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
I guess thats good for 1400 hp? But I think some boats on 93 octane will end up running that fast.
|
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
i think the article said pump fuel, 91 octane, 1200 HP.....
Good job TMP, where are those motors now? Need a demo boat for them?:D :D |
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
I believe it ran 164 on pump fuel. TMP stated that they were now 1400's in a previous post
|
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
And I believe the boat blew a tranny before Hot Boat ever strung it out
|
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
Yes, the engines are 1200 on 91 octane/ over 1400 w/ a pulley change and 100 octane. The computer aoutomatically compensates for the change. The boat did break a transmission during testing.
Gator, hows the new boat coming? |
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
yes,
Our new boat should easily achieve those speeds on pump fuel. Sean, Thanks for the heads up, we haven't seen it yet, but will look for it tomorrow. |
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
Tmp,
The boat has run great. It ran 168 on pump gas and bumping the limiters. The attiude of the boat is amazing at those speeds. It should break 170 |
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
Gator,
Those are great #'s. How much power? What gear ratio? Who's transmissions are you running? We are heading to NorTech on Weds. to check the progress of the new boat. |
Re: Cyclone in Hot Boat....
Keith Eickerts with BAM trannies and 1.24 ratio
