Re: 35 Flame owners
Mike,
I learned from the express cruisers we ran that the frig is nice for keeping the contents cold, but the thing puts out ALOT of heat. So much so we would turn it on if we were out in early or late season to add some warmth to the cabin. Currently we use ours to store dry foods and just buy a few buck of ice each day to keep the coolers stocked. (just my $.02) Russ C. |

Also if you have a problem with the water tank that is not coming out either, looks like they built the boat from the outside in sealing each section in along the way good planning for any future problems. Priced some new refrigerators those little things are expensive I guess I will have to bite the bullet and buy one before the maryland trip.
Lotti, WOW, I haven't checked this thread in a while! I have been using mine a little. I turn it on the night before, and put a bunch of bottled water in it and turn it all the way down. It just about freezes the water, and then I just put food, etc in there and it will stay cold for about 2-3 hours once I unplug the shore power. At least I know how to get it out now :D How are you going to get the new one in? Thanks, Dean |
Re: 35 Flame owners
I bought a smaller frig I will have to build a panel to fill in around the excess space. I love the frig didn,t think I would use it but when it broke it was the first time I turned it off in about 2 months. Battery drain was not bad at all I would run it all day, and plug in shore power when at the house or docks. The frig is also a freezer if you leave it all the way up you will freeze everything in a couple of days. I will have to post some pics of the frig cut in half.
