28 Heat/496 winter project now in motion...
 

Well,
This will be a very nice project.
Parts are now being ordered for a 750hp 496HO!!
The engine will actually be built by Larry Peto in Arizona who many regard as one of the best in the business (Predator speaks for itself ;o)
With no hands on with this particular motor I felt this would be better left to Larry although I will try to attend the assembly and dyno task for future reference (my own ;o)
Also I can't supply a 1yr/100hr warranty which he is giving.
The motor will be sporting a Raylar(GM) forged crank, Eagle H-beam rods, JE pistons, fully ported heads by Larry with inconel and sever duty oversize valves, all new valve train, crane cam (very similar to a 741), fully blueprinted block, a large 3.3L Whipple with a Dustin/Larry dyno'd program for 5500rpm.
The X drive will be upgraded by Max Machine Worx and I will be installing IMCO steering and full instrumentation during the re-rig.
Ought to be step up in the speed department :evilb: :evilb:

I'm doing it for a client in his Heat.

However, two of those would pose an interesting ride in the Flame :rolleyes:

Just go to the Jewelry store right before the project starts and buy the wife a piece of metal she has allways wanted. You won't hear a thing at that point.

Here's how the budget works:
1. Get the budget set.
2. Apply 65% boat, 35% wife
3. Figure out what you want to get done with the boat.
4. Buy all boat stuff and complete project.
5. Find out what wife wants through friend.
6. Buy from Jewelry store.
7. Break the news and give her the goods.
8. If wife is still unhappy, return jewelry and hire lawyer.

That worked on my first wife. Thats why I am on my second. Make sure second wife is on the program.

Keep us up on the Heat project. Looks like some good power will be made.
