at the LA Boat Show this weekend......... :drink:

It is priced right and apparently very fast.

Should be a very good addition to the line.

I should have some by Monday.......they worked 24/7 this week to get it ready for the show........I was faxed pricing late Friday evening....thats how how close they were running. I asked some OSO members who are attending the show to send me some pics. Also EXTREME BOATS MAG is taking some shots for me as well......as soon as I get them I will post here in the NORDIC SECTION.

Looks great, only thing is what's up with the throttles being at a goofy angle? MAybe they feel right in the boat

OK.......PRICE on the boat above will be a boat show special for that boat only! That include all the goodies - full hydraulic steering, sport lower shorty, 525/XR and so on. It also includes the custom built trailer, full cover and prop. PM, email or call us at (631) 724-8707 for the price. I cannot post it here because it is below MSRP. As for speed.......very high 80's....dialed in....which is in the process of being done...HOPING to hit 90. Over 100 with the ILMOR 625....which is also available for the boat before it ships to us.

The throttle position looks funky but feels real comfortable when at the helm. It also can be adjusted if needed.

I assume speeds are somewhat of an educated guess at this point beings it's never touched the water :rolleyes:

Just noticed it, but Nordic needs to quite using their goofy guages and put some nice livorsi guages in their boats. I am sure you can probably order the boat anyway you want it.

So ....with Lonnie driving and Mercury Racing also in the boat.....she runs 92 MPH GPS.....thats with a 31 LAB prop....and Mercury thinks a 32 LAB will push the boat to 93-94 with the bone stock HP 525. Here is a pic of the SMARTCRAFT SCREEN and gauges as well. Looks like NORDIC has a real winner with this boat.

YES it is...they are very pleased with the long hard effort put into the hull design. MERCURY RACING who was on the boat for testing and proping when those GPS pics were taken could not believe the handling (turning & planing) and performance (acceleration & top end) of the the boat in all kinds of water conditions and it delivered consistant results. :drink:

With the new 700 and Ace drive, or a whipple on the 525 :D .......

Goes to show what great engineering can produce. Nordic had some high quality help with this one and nailed it apparently. The hull was designed by an outside source that produces the worlds fastest cats. (This according to Orv)
Nordic designed the top half of this boat with great success.

The ILMOR 625 is next in the THOR... which they are building as I write this.......the 32 Cat is due out this Spring if all goes well and the long awaited 42 V-bottom mid summer. Both of which will have have the same engineering input as the 27 Thor had.
