air induction
2 Attachment(s)
I snapped this picture in the OSS pits this past weekend. It is the the rather elaborate air induction system on OSS Vee Light
(single engine vee, 29') Wild Ride. This class is spec limited to either a GM 496HP3/525 or a Merc HP525. Looks like they are optimizing every other facet of their setup, including induction, since motor mods are not allowed. And, speaking of induction :D , the Bud Select Team Rocks :evilb: ! Regards, Steve PS I also posted my Destin OSS pics under the MCPA/Destin Pics thread. |
Re: air induction
Interesting. Could you see what the engine side of this induction assembly looked like that the air box fit over?

Re: air induction
Rage,
It has NACA ducts on both sides, hence the flex hose. Most of the SVL boats run some sort of Harwood type singe scoop. Regards, Steve |
