Tested the boat sunday, here are the stats. 5200 rpm 28 pitch bravo 1 between 72 and 73 gps mph no chop smooth water. I think my slip is way high. Do you guys think the drive spacer will help?

John,
Those are good initial #s. I think you'll see 75 under good conditions when you get her dialed in. I wouldn't change anything on your setup until you run with the spacer. You are close to the limiter now (I think 5300 on a HP500EFI). Hooking your prop up better with additional depth or cup should pull you back off the limiter and reduce your slip.
I ran your slip #s. I always reduce the pitch by 1" on Bravos as they are actually 1 to 1.5"s less pitch than rated. You are still high at 19%. Mine was the same when I 1st bought it.
Unfortunately, that is not unusual with a Heat. With the 19 1/4" X dimension on a large single vee, they slip a lot. You'll get there. If you have access to a Hydromotive P5-X in the 26" range, give it a try. It will work with or without the spacer.
Regards,
Steve

John,
I just noticed you're in Dallas. What lakes do you go to around here? You have a couple of Nordic brethren at Texoma, including TXInstigator's Rage bobl posted about in the other thread and new heat.
