Default Nashville Poker Run

Hello all Nordic owners,
It was great to see everyone this past weekend.
I also wanted to invite everyone to the MCPA Fun Run on August 4th. The run will be held out of Anchor High Marina, (Hendersonville, TN/Old Hickory Lake) now owned by Mitch Miller of CMS offshore racing.
This is a fun, low key Poker Run held on nearby Old Hickory. It gets better every year. Our proceeds (after expenses) go to a very worthy cause (particularly when we're at war), the Hendersonville, TN VFW.
I hope to see some of you here in August ! BTW, this is a soaking WET (ie any drink you can think of ) city/lake/marina restaurant, so get ready to have FUN !
They don't call us NashVegas for nothing .......
Gary and John, I hope you guys can make it down!
Read more about it @ www.musiccitypowerboat.com .
Best Regards,
Steve

Gary, There are campgrounds on the lake, but no hotels. Tim Baldwin recommends the Hyatt (formerly AmeriSuites), or the Holiday Inn Express, both in Hendersonville, and close to the events.
Glad you guys are coming!
Best Regards,
Steve

Steve,
I am going to try my hardest to have Jeff and Nate running by then. My target is Emerald Coast, but they would really like to make the local run, as I would also like to have another motor in the run. I will give it all I have. Talk to you soon, Eddie.

Eddie,
I hear you are "bustin' it" to get them ready. I hope you make it. If there were ever 2 guys that were due for a break, it's Jeff and Nate.
Keep us posted.

Boy is that the truth. What an intro into the world of performance boating. I know a lot of guys who have gotten out of boating for a lot less. I am going to give it all I have. If the boat doesn't make the run, it won't be for lack of effort. I don't think the motor will be a problem, it's the boat that I am worried about. There are a lot of changes that need to be made, and then have the motor installed and dialed in. We'll see!!! See ya, Eddie.

How was Vegas? Did you save any gas money for the run?
