Need Advice: Looking into buying a Heat
 

Hello Everyone,

I need your professional option....

I am looking into getting an open bow Heat and not sure which motor to purchase. I have looked at new one and used ones but everything seems to have the 496 HO. I have even thought about ordering a shell and installing a motor and drive. I could probably save a few bucks this way and get more HP for the money. Any suggestions????

I am looking for something reliable and yet fun to tool around with. I don't want to wrench on it all the time but don't mind doing upgrades once and a while. I am new to the sport...always been a gear head for cars and bikes!

I checked out a 05' last week with about 150 hours on the stock 496 HO. Clean boat but $65,000....

I'll sell my boat any way you want it. It's a 2004 Midcabin. Right now it has 900EFI, ITS,XR drive with full hydraulic steering. If sold with this engine it will be totally refreshed with 0 hours. I have a line on a 500 EFI that I will probably install if I don't get a buyer beforehand. I'm asking 89k with the 900. I'll take 76k with the 500 EFI. Looks good, sounds great. He had a little water in the oil on the 5 hr, so we want to make sure it's OK before he lays into it. Feels real punchy though, so I think it's OK.
How are you liking your Flame? That's a real nice boat. I talked to Mike about it too, but the timing wasn't right for me.

I have an 03 Heat Mid-Cabin Open Bow for sale. It has a brand new Raylar 525 in it (under 10 hours) with hydraulic steering connected to a brand new Bravo 1x drive. It still has a year left on the engine warranty. Other features - custom bimini, travel cover, bow cover and cockpit cover, Trailer with 2 spare tires, 1 yr old vhf and color garmin gps, box anchor, etc. The price is $70k or Best Offer.

I've been wanting to see one and there aren't any around, so I decided to go ahead and order one and use it as a demo(or sell it). Hopefully I'll generate some interest and sell a couple. I think they are really cool. My style of boating just requires the open bow. I'll post some pics.
