2008 East Coast Nordic Regatta
 

Hey all,

The dates have been selected for Nordic's East Coast Regatta, they are June 27th - 29th. Our hopes are that this will work for everyone. With the days ticking by and calendars filling up we had to peg the dates. The event will once again be held at The State Dock on Lake Cumberland.

Nordic will be participating in this year's event and will be adding it their print ad publications and website. Also, we are looking forward to showcasing some of the new rocket ships Nordic has developed.

We will have a complete information package coming to everyone detailing event activities, location and accommodations.

Hope to see everyone for a weekend of High Performance Partying.

Good dates for us. Expect a nice turout from the NashVegas Nordic Navy.
I will pass the word it's set.
Please let us know about accomodations ASAP so we can make our plans. We've been thinking about renting a houseboat (or 2) from the State Dock.

How's your new power project coming?

I'm doing some prop testing on the 35 this weekend, should be nice and brisk.

Hello Gary,
The motor is back together. Should be able to drop it in this weekend. I am sure the new setup will take some tweaking (hatch/seat clearance/ecu reprogramming/etc), but it sure looks great sitting on the stand :cool-smiley-011:............
Good luck with your prop testing. Light loads and cool weather = fast :D..............

Can't wait Gary! We wouldn't miss it! Just scheduled it into our summer vacation plans. It will be good to see you and John and the gang. Oh yea ,Tyler hasn't let up all winter about his missed ride in the Thor so be prepared:D See ya all soon

Where is the best place to stay? How is the water level?

We will be posting room accommodation info hopefully this week. Event will be held at the State Dock like last year. Event agenda will also be posted soon.

As for the lake, it is in the best condition I have seen in 15 years. Water is clear and plenty of room for the Nordic Navy to roam.

No problem Paul, we would love to see members from the New York Nordic Navy. Dates are baked, details on room accommodations, Boatels (Houseboat Rentals), and event activity to follow.


Last years event was very well attended and this year looks even better. Hopefully Pete from Nordic will be there to meet the East Coast Nordic family.
