Just wanted to say hi...
I bought my 1999 35' Flame last year, I've lurked over here a few times to read posts and check out pictures of other peoples rides. I just want to thank all of you for the wealth of information and also thanks to OSO for providing a place for us to all share our love for our boats.
Here are a couple of pictures of my boat, it's got the 502 Mag Mpi's with 220 original hours. I've added a lot of dress up billet along with a 9000 btu A/C unit, new carpet and a bimini. I look forward to meeting a lot of you and sharing ideas and experiences! http://www.hotboatpics.com/pics/data...000306-med.JPG http://www.hotboatpics.com/pics/data...TrucknBoat.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/CIMG0985.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/CIMG0986.jpg |
Welcome to Nordicville.
Cool cave, how far back does it go? Is that a factory bimini? Can you drive with it up? Does it just snap to one of the cockpit cover snaps? I 'd like to have some shade but I don't like the Anchor Shades because the pole is right in the center of isle. |
Cave is at Powell, back in Rock Creek...doesn't go back that far, 50 feet or so, just enough to turn the boat around inside. The bimini is not factory, I had it put on locally. It uses quick release stainless mounts, I have two sets installed, one set that are used when the bimini is up, but then when you fold it down, the bimini sits on the sun pad...a second set of mounts is installed further back so that when the bimini is stored, it sits on the very back of the sun pad, allowing the engine hatch to open.
