Easy Fix!
I personally love my Windaway's. Though, Steve's custom jobs look better. I have not had any problems, but then again, I can't top 75 mph!

Nordic Boats comes to the rescue!
After talking to parts guru, Mike Chandler of Nordic Boats in Havasu...he shot me over some admittedly poor pictures of the wind deflectors they are making for the Heat and Rage. I can't wait to try these suckers out! I will take some better pictures when they are installed on my boat. Chris |

Chris, there's a place in Lake Havasu, Finney's.com , they specialize in windshields, etc..They seem to be very well known, and I know it's a long drive from your home, but. U might wanna check out their site and give them a call and see if there's something different about their design for your Heat......

curious on attachment myself, may cause problems if permanent for us guys using cockpit covers

They told me they were a permanent attachment....I can definately see the difficulty for my cocpit cover.
I also think they would look better if bolted to the under side of the winshield. Chris. P.S. I will give finneys a call tommorow |

I used a die grinder with abraisive cut off wheel. Lay a piece of tape as a guide then just sand the edges when done.
Looking at the photo of what Nordic is making is about the same size I ended up with. They also stay on at a pretty good speed (not 100 mph though)

Hey Bob...the Wind Away cut in half idea is brilliant. I think I might do that. What type of saw did you use?
