Just thought I'd share a couple pics of the new build. Another fine creation By Nordic Dave

Nice man! What's it going in? How much power are you expecting to get out of it?
|
Looks good, what are you putting it in?

(Linnie, give me a shout...) |
congrats on the build. Another OSO member is building a 598....with a blower though. At first He could not decide between 572 and 598. Any reasons why you choose 598?
Looking forward to more pics and numbers once you run it! |

Upgraded Drive, Steering and Engine is all in. Few things still left to do but we're getting close. I think 775 hp looks pretty good. Nice work Dave!

Good luck with your testing. Regards, Steve We're going to fire it up this weekend on the garden hose. Then I guess we'll be waiting for some good weather to do some fine tuning and prop testing on the water. Utah weather has been all over the place lately. |
Are you going to test at Utah lake? Last weekend would've been perfect but I think this weekend is going to be stormy. You might run into JD running his 28SS out there.
|
We'll likely be running around Willard unless it gets back into the 80's again. Ya, last weekend would have been perfect. Pineview was packed. Missed that one.
|
Wouldn't want to be testing on a packed pineview anyway but that's a fun lake to hang at. It's always crazy there on a nice weekend. I'm going to try to get up there this summer.
Good luck testing the new motor. |
