New Heat Owner
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the boating scene and did alot of reseach here on the forums before I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a 1996 Nordic Heat. I thank everyone for their contributions and information I soaked in. I live in montreal, Canada and drove 1300miles to upstate maryland to inspect and purchase the boat. Although I did not yet have a chance to put it in the water (apart from the sea trial during the survey) I am sure I will enjoy this boat for years to come. Here is a picture of the boat and rig at a truck stop on my way home... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...aler/photo.jpg |
That is a rare one. They only made a few boats with the hull windows. I have friend here who has one.
Welcome aboard Montrealer. Regards, Steve |
nice! Welcome to the Nordic Navy!

Very nice and welcome aboard. Heat's and Excursions, It must be a disease.
Best of luck with your boat. Ray |
Nice boat and welcome

Thanks every one.
Steve Did they only install the hull windows on the boats with completely enclosed cuddy? Most nordics I have seen for sale do not have a door to enter the cuddy area from the cockpit but mine does. I will take more pics this weekend if I can get it in the water. Ray, All I can say about the excursion is that this was the FIRST time I was hauling a boat or any trailer, and I was VERY comfortable driving it, almost like the boat wasnt there once the hydraulic breaks actually started working... I can definately see why people would pick this thing as a tow vehicule :evilb: |
