looks like he got reckless driving, I'm sure someone could sue if they were hit. I just wonder how that could happen unless you were drunk. even if the throttle is stuck turn the wheel and shut it off.

That's what I mean...he got off. Should have taken his boating license away (do they have that there?). He shouldn't be given the privilege to drive a boat.

This is one of the fools who gives all of us performance boaters a bad reputation, and leads to bad insurance rates on our boats. He's lucky he didn't seriously injure someone.
The LOTO Fountain guy is another example, even worse because it's on youtube.....then there were the accidents at Emerald Coast PR.......maybe it has always been there, we are just more aware of it because of the internet and social media. It's a bad trend and media exposure none the less.
Conversely, you rarely hear about the dozens of successfully run, accident free poker runs held every year, and the money we raise for charities, outside of our media interests (boating websites and magazines).

Yes, we have boating specific licenses in both Oregon and Washington.
