New to Nordic
Saying hello, we are the new owners of a 2001 25 Rage. Big change coming from 2 Bayliners with 3.0l engins :)
|
Congrats and welcome!
|
Heck yes, a big change in the right kind of way! Congrats.
|
Welcome to the Nordic Navy. That is a serious upgrade!
Best Regards, Steve |
Let's see some pics. I see the rage comes in open bow option is your like that or cuddy. Welcome I recently became a member on here as well and you will like the threads and learn a lot in the process.

Beautiful Rage - Looks cool on the triple axle trailer - Congrats on the purchase and welcome!
|
Thanks all, wife and I took it out today for a short windy ride. It was her first and only my second time on it. 1 for test run and then today. It is a very fun ride :D
|
I've been looking at the Rage to upgrade too, sounds like you're pleased so far.
|
Man when did the Corps COLA go up LOL…
Great looking boat, welcome and Semper Fi. John |
Yes MINK, we are very pleased. The idiots are doing their best to ensure our COLA is jacked. I retired and still work. Semper Fi John.

I haven't been in a closed bow rage is there enough room to sleep up front? I heard it was questionable. If you are sleeping I would up size to a heat, just my 2 cents.

The Heat doesnt look like it has a larger vberth at all but maybe someone that has been in both will chime in. I really have no issue sleeping in my 22' Scarab but crawling under the dash is what I'm not happy with.

i'm 6'2" and i can lay diagonal along the hull and my feet don't hang off. thankfully my wife is only 5'1" so she doesn't take up much space haha

and yeah I can see that happening with me aswell. |
I had to remove a wall in back of my garage and shrink the shop size and even though a Heat will fit, I still need to fit my car, Harley and Rzr in the garage too. I think we are good with the Rage. Summer sun is brutal on things in the desert.

Went out for a quick run today to test her out in not real world conditions :) 1/4 tank of gas on one side and near empty on the other, no passengers, bow cover on and no wind. I was both pleased and a little surprised with the result even though it will be rare to see those numbers under normal conditions.

Such a great looking boat!
|
that's about right if it was smooth water conditions, the rage like some chop to "air out" so theres a couple more to be had, my best is 73.8 with bow cover on in ideal conditions, btw, welcome!!!

Great profile shot at the dock! Very classy color/graffic combo.
