Adding Speakers to Rage Open Bow
 

Well that's it in a nutshell. I don't have any speakers in the front of my Rage. I was hoping to get ideas, any thoughts or pics?

I have seen pictures on OSO of rages with speaker pods built in the open bow near the cup holders. This boat is kind of tough to find ideal locations for speakers especially subs. I'm going to install a couple speakers for the driver and passenger and a 12" dual voice coil free air sub in the bow storage area using a hinged panel for the speaker so the storage can still be used. I like not having speakers in the bow so I have an area for the wife to lay out and take a nap while I listen to music. Under power I am going to install an intercom system with nice noise canceling headsets and microphones. I am going to pipe in my music over the headsets for good sound when it gets loud.

I've seen others use the rear seat area for subs, losing the storage for a complete sealed enclosure.

I have no speakers in the bow of mine either. Honestly I prefer that, the rest of the boat thumps enough they are not needed up there.
