WTB: Right Side Windscreen for 2006 Heat 28'
 

Hey guys, I had a clumsy dude on my boat last night who jumped off the side of the boat while holding the windscreen and busted the back 24" of it clean off... Nordic wants 1800 bucks for the one side and 500 to install. I don't want to glue it because my boat is in great shape and it will drive me crazy to see such a repair. I'm also trying not to have to claim it on insurance as I've never made a claim in my lifetime and I have a stupid high deductible. Anyone have one laying around or know of an alternate solution? Let me know... I'm learning that it's best to keep small groups of good friends on the boat and not try to give everyone and their friends rides...

Several folks have been through this before, on different brands. One solution is to have it glued, reinforced a bit, and painted solid.

Sounds like the clumsy guy better get his clumsy wallet out.

I have one off of my old 98 heat that is I think 5" taller then yours but could be cut down it is in very good shape, I had it changed because it was to high for me. I live in Utah where are you?
