Heat Bimini pictures

I'm looking to buy a Bimini top for my Heat. Does anyone have pictures of their Bimini tops? I'm looking for pictures of the top in the up position, the down position and also the mounting areas. Thanks in advance!!!

One question. Are the mounts on top of the gunnel or on the inside?

In2Deep 07-21-2017 08:56 AM

My frame mounts are on the inside. Actually, I have two identical mounts on each side within the cockpit area; one is for when the bimini is down and stored in the boot -- which sits just a little bit to the rear of the back of the bench seat. Nice and secure, doesn't bounce around, and looks just fine. Another mount is forward of that storage mount for when you want the bimini up. Just take the frame mount grip screws out, slide the frame forward about 2 feet or so, attach with the screw and lift the bimini - and attach the straps. Bimini strap loops are mounted forward on each side of the deck about 2 feet or so forward of the windshield, and rear loops to the rear either side of the sun pad.

I'll be back up with the Nordic mid-August if you'd like me to take some pics.

I've had my bimini from day 1 (straight from the factory) -- and never had a problem. I consider biminis a must-have for those intensely hot and sunny days.

I2D.

Here is mine with the complete enclosure up also. On the side are blue screens for when the windows are zipped open.

Mike who made that cover for you?

Liquid Lifestyle 04-20-2018 12:42 PM

I had Reitesel's Canvas in McHenry, IL make it for me. For this boat previously he has done the full camper enclosure and cockpit cover. I had the enclosure made right when I bought the boat, before it ever hit the water. In northern IL is just extends your season so much, i don't want a boat without it.

Just this year I added a full storage cover from Reitesels. Keeps everything protected and saves wipe down time when I get to the lake.

This is the third boat of mine they have made canvas for, and I have been really happy with the results.
