05 heat with whipple stage 2 ecu flash

Anybody done this to there 496mag/ho? If so what gains did you see and where?

Ryan00TJ 12-07-2017 07:06 PM

I've had mine since 2015. Whipple has fast turn around time of the PCM. It has ran flawless. Most gains can be felt thru the midrange. The motor feels and revs better at WOT.

What prop are you running and what top speeds are you seeing?

Info in the above post. Copy and paste to your browser. Top speed is 75gps @ 4875 rpm with a Bblades labbed 30p Bravo One. 74gps @ 5000 with a 28p Bblades labbed Bravo One.

You've got some high slip #'s, you've got another few mph in that 28, I had a 25' Nordic rage that ran a best of 78 with a labbed 28, and I'm currently running 83-84 with stock bravo 30's on my current boat, stock HO's

Ryan thats the fastest 496 heat I have ever heard of. A Raylar or 525 Nordic won't go that fast, or barely that fast.

I agree 100%, but I'm thinking hes talking speeds out of his velocity not a heat

Yes that's right. Speeds are from a 29' Velocity VR1.
