Trailor hitch on 2003 Expedition
 

I just purchased a 2003 Ford Expedition with a class iv hitch. I have a 2003 Nordic Heat on a triple axel trailor. Does any one out there tow with this and if they do what drop or rise do I need for the hitch? I was towing with a 2001 Chevy Tahoe and using a 2 inch drop hitch. I guess I will have to hook the 2 inch drop to the Expedition and see how level the boat & trailor is with this and then measure for levelness. Is this procedure correct?

I use a 2" drop on our F250 and Flame. I would think that would be comparable to height.

I used a 3" on my F350 if that helps.

BTW...How's the Nordic treating you on the Chesapeake? How does it handle the waters there? It can't be much different than running on the Sound.
