Looking For Used Late Model 28' Heat
 

Prefer fresh water boat with stock power. Cuddy Bow models would be a big plus. I have a stout ProCharger motor to drop in after upgrading drive and steering.

I would love to hear from 28' Heat owners running big power.

"Nordic Heat" is running 650+ in his. He's got a ProCharged 540, I'm sure he'll chime in here. I just sold my 2001 28 Heat this past June...too bad, it's a nice boat.

How does this hull handle big lake sloppy water?

Great in my opinion. I've been out in Lake MI 3 - 4 footers and all sorts of slop.

2002 Nordic Heat
 

I have a 2002 Closed Bow with a 2003 custom triple axle trailer. It has a 496 HO with about 45 hrs. I really need to sell it because I am looking for a wakeboard boat. I will give you a good price on it if interested.

Volvo rules, how big a motor are putting in? I buddy of mine has been running about 700 hp in his Heat and it runs great. He's making some modifications this winter to get it around 800 hp.

I've got a brand new 2004 Heat that I built a 650HP, 555CID Merlin for. Haven't had it in the water yet so I'm not sure how it runs. It has an ITS/XR drive package.

Warrior, what kind of speed is that heat with 700 HP getting?

Volvo....Have you considered ordering a new Heat without power? You can rig it with whatever drive package you want.
