Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Just read it, Great article on the boat. Sometimes they get little publicity, so I think its a great shot for Nordic.
I have really enjoyed mine. Are you going to sell this boat? I bet it would go quick if so. |
Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Nice article. That's a very nice boat even if it doesn't have a beak.
:D |
Re: New 35 in Powerboat
What were the top speeds reported in the magazine?

Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Gary,
Let me know if you and the group are interested. So far we have 4 confirmed, a possible fifth. I blocked out 10 rooms that will be reserved to Feb 26th. I think we saved about $30 per room. We only have 3 rooms reserved. One person is going to stay on the boat. I have 4 confirmed floating dock slips. I thank I can get at least 3 more as they open. I will make sure your group gets a equal share. I have asked for 7 slips. There will be plenty of wall space that not that bad. It would be great if you came with a few boats. We found some very good restaurants last week when we were there to the many we already knew about. I am still looking at going to the Miami show. Linnie |

Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Gary,
Beautiful boat. Maybe the prettiest I've ever seen. Will try to get to the Louisville Show. Steve |
Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Great looking boat Gary! It's great to see Nordic starting to use some colors thanks to you. I was a little disappointed in the final top end numbers. What gives with that? It appears that everyone else running 500 EFI's are at those numbers.

Re: New 35 in Powerboat
You have to remember, this was the very first time the boat hit water. The speeds posted are not the finale numbers. The 91 + numbers posted will go up significantly once boat is dialed in. As I mentioned in previous posts, Bob Teague drove the boat during the test and was confident the boat will run 100.

Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Gary,
Checked out the Flame at the Louisville show this past weekend. It is beautiful and I'm sure it will run faster with more dial in time. I mentioned to your partner that the big improvement in performance with the Vipers will come with centrifugal supercharging. The plumbing looks really easy, just like a Merc HP500 or 525. Is Procharger or Vortech cooking anything up for the Viper V-10? Regrads, Steve |
Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Steve,
I just missed ya. I got to the booth at 4:30 Sat. heard you were there. Thanx for the visit. |
Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Gary,
I was there with several (12 of us) members of the newly formed Music City Powerboat Club. Our show here had a grand total 0 high performance boats, so we REALLY enjoyed looking at some serious hardware. Maybe I'm biased being a Nordic owner, but I think your boat, bang for the buck, stole the show. Regards, Steve |
Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Thanx for the kind words Steve. Hope to see your group on Cumberland this summer.

Re: New 35 in Powerboat
Gary,
We are planning a trip after the stories one of our Nordic friends told regarding last July 4th. Sounds like 76 Falls was on fire :evilb: ............... Regards, Steve |
