new motor has arrived

new motor came in . took the hatch and back seat out. pull the 502 mag out should have the 500efi in by tomorrow. everything back together by Friday. and run it on the ramp
after i get some tail pipes. then check for leaks make sure everything up to par .going to start with a stock 24 B1.
lake still has ice on it. just have to wait 3 more weeks before.
I can start break in.

I still need to get some low port CMI S Tail pipes. anyone know where i can pick up a set?
Thanks Bill

Bill:
I would call Lonnie at the factory. I'm sure it's a custom CMI setup. He may have it in stock or at least can order them for you. Sounds like a great performance upgrade. Let us know how much you pick up. How long 'till you order the Whipple Charger :D ?
Regards,
Steve

Indianaheat, are you selling the 502 Mag? I'm looking for a rigged engine to use as a core to build a 540.

It is definatly not a stock Bravo tail pipe. I'm sure CMI will know what they are selling Nordic. Either Lonnie or CMI can help.

You might want to give me a call, I know where there are two sets of CMI tail pipes that were ordered and were measured wrong, he could not return them so they are new and still in the box , I think they are about a 1'' to and 1 1/2 to low but you might be able to save some money by getting these and having them cut???

was planing on keeping it to put back in when i sell the boat.
motor only was 270 hours on it with a new sea pump. I would at least need 5000 out of it. you could probably find a tired 502 for around 3000 with accessories
