Has anybody run them on their 35 Flame? If yes, could you please post some pics.?
Thanks,
Dean

Since you spend so much of your time at idle speed, you really need something to get that bow down so you can see over it!!!!!! :drink:

never seen a 35 without k-Planes. They are a must in any big water and top end. Max speed 6.5 on drives and 4.5 on K-Planes.

NG,
I have 280s on my boat now, I'm thinking about putting on 380s.
BB,
At least I can see over the bow :drink:

Gary,
You run the K planes down that much? I have very little experience with them but never use them on WOT. I agree with the 6.5 on the drives. They props blow out at 7. I am going to try the 4.5 on the tabs.

Thanks Linnie

Dean,
I was in Sarasota last week and went into 5 footers going out of big pass cut. I had the drives totally in and the tabs at 7. Only lost the prop twice. The 280's never went all the way down. I think you will loose all the prop bit since the drives are mounted so high. The key, I think with the Nordics is to keep the drives in and only add enough tab to keep things in line.

The best way to set your numbers is by digital GPS. At WOT change drive a tab settings to max speed. I found that tabs gave me 1 - 11/2 MPH and completely eliminates chine walking. The only boat I know of using the 380's was a friend who had a supercharged 27 Fountain. The 380's were must over 78 in that thing. Don't see them doing much for the 35 Nordic, could be wrong.

Good input guys, thanks. I've heard that using 380s on some boats makes the boat really sensitive to level, and it's hard to find the sweet spot! :D
