Just one, which should still work quite well. It's a Velocity 32/700/NXT poker run setup. And yes, green and yellow. Lots of custom stuff. Shooting to have it ready for the Miami show.

I'm staying on the DL for the moment. If I start to bust chambergc's nuts this early he may drop out of the SPBA and sell his boat. He doesn't handle "constructive criticism" well. :D. That would be a bad thing..........I don't think we could ever find anybody that would enjoy wearing the "slightly ***ish" costume Chambersgc wears on stage. It's kinda weird, he starts to wear that costume a month before the Pirate Run???? I guess he's really into it :drink: :eek:

:rolleyes: You know what PREZ ?? I think I sense a little bit of jealousy here. Over the past three years you have tried so hard to win that costume contest, but you just can't seem to do it. If you would just take my advise and get rid of those black dancing leathers and that whip, you may have a chance. Pirates never had there butt's hanging out Billy. I have heard great things about your run and I should be all wrapped up with building the new house, so I plan on attending your run with a few other boats as well.

I would love more info as how to get a dock slip and a room where the action is. I am sure it is on your website, but I (and maybe others) would appreciate it if we could be led to the water so we can drink (so to speak) :D

Made The 06 Run But But The Boat Ran Like Crap And Could Not Enjoy The Run. I Fixed The Problem And Already Reserved My Room For 07. Someone Did Manage To Take This Shot Early In The Run. Just Looking At It Gets Me Pumped For Spring.damn I Am Bored........

I haven't been back to check on this post for a couple day's. Proman, are you saying Steiny is going to pull a motor so we can keep up?? I think Steiny was hanging out with Chambers a little to much last year. That sounds like somethihng that would he would babble. I have just two thing to say about the current situation: 1) After seeing Steiny's sisters homemade internet video "Plump Fiction", I can't believe you Fuc ked her!!!:eek: The part with the camel really made me quizzy. You have more balls than me.....and you know I ride a mean Extreme cooler! 2) If Steiny actually gets that bath tub he calls a boat movin' it will be a nice change. I get sick of looking back to see if he's still runnin' with the group. :drink: :evilb:

Have fun on that run Bill. Spent some time at Jupiter Inlet having cocktails watching boats come in through chop, too bad I was there two weeks too early for the run.
Also had a bite at the Waterway Cafe'. Definitely a nice card stop.

You can try calling the showboat motel, they are right at the event. Unfortunately, I think they might be booked. At very least, they might have other suggestions. Check their link on the club website for the #. senecapowerboats.com

You asked about Motels ----- I am pretty sure the two located right at the event are near (if not already) full. I have a call into the manager of a very nice place just South of there. I am waiting for a call back to discuss pricing for that weekend, so I will reply again shortly with more information.

Here is that hotel info. but they only have (4) "Select" rooms available ...... at $249 a night.
It is about 7 miles South of our event, or 6 miles South of the State boat launch at Severne Point. Here is their website: http://www.glenora.com/

Oh, one other thing ................ there are a boat load :D of Bed-and-Breakfast places along both sides of the lake (major wine country here) with NYS boat launches all along Seneca Lake as well.


Also, Watkins Glen has a bunch of motels, and public docking, and a public boat launch on the canal ...........

Our event is held at the Showboat Hotel, which is just about in the middle between the North and South ends of the lake.

So there you go .... lots and lots of choices.

Glenora Wine Celler / Inn (only 4 very expensive rooms left) = 6.2
??? B&B (PREZ did not catch the name) = 9.4
Golden Knight - motel = 9.8
Cherry Orchard - B&B = 10.8
Chieftan Motel = 11.9
Longhouse - motel= 12.6
Glen Motor Inn = 13.6
Anchor Inn / Tiki Bar - possible overnight docking available = 15.8
Watkins Glen - many motels, and a boat launch, and overnight docking at the Village Marina = 16 miles
