Cool, I was out so it probably was me. It was a great day on the lake, I hope you were out too! You guys did a great job on my boat, the exhaust sounds and looks great. :drink:

Anyone around this week? I'd love to take a run with some other go-fasts on the lake or someone who knows the lake. We are camping on the East side of Long Island look for my baja and a seadoo jetboat.

We got tagged on Monday for 66 in a 45, open pipes, and 50 in a 45 on the seadoo jetboat. Those guys are nuts up there. Luckily my buddy was able to talk the ranger out of the tix since he is local.

Where abouts did you get those tickets? If they were down by the village thats one thing, but if they were farther north, thats ridiculous...especially the 50 in the 45.

I'm going to drop in on July 29th, but I will definitely stay away from the south end(got a noise ticket last year).

Apparently they are higher than sheriffs and lower than State Police.

Got it on the East Side of Long Island. We had gone up and around the north side of Long Island and then were shooting down to our campsite on the Eastern Shore of the Island. They were hiding in the cove on Long Island. :(

They only yanked the Seadoo cause they yanked me, heck they only pulled out cause we were pulling into our campsite, we didn't even think anything of it til they were docking up at the site next to us and my buddy went over to help tie him up and asked him what was up. Then he layed on them how he's local, is a chiropractor down in queensbury and his dad is very active in the VFD in LG, and his mom also works for the town so we got lucky, but it put a dampter on the few days we were there cause we couldn't go all out w/o looking over our shoulders.

looks like we'll be down with a couple customer we sold boats to this summer... we'll see if this is still true when we have to register but as of right now, there are...4 or 5 boats we know of, and we did not even told the 3-4 guys from last year... We'll see!

No, I haven't made it up there this summer. I never went up after the Sacandaga run....I just ran the boat on 'Daga on Sunday as well. I will be up there with the Scarab this w/end(Labor day). Probably will hang out at Log Bay with a big "FOR SALE" sign on the Scarab! You gonna be out in the Hawk or Avanti?

Will do. I actually have a pic of your boat on my girlfriends camera from memorial day(I dont think its a very good one or else I would have sent it to you). We were on the deck of simple simons and you went cruinsing by. The boat was in CT that weekend or else I would have been out there running with you guys.

Hey Johnny,
Pops ran the CT River run and headed straight up to our house in Luzerne for a few days. He is dropping the boat off for storage at All Waves and picking my Scarab up from there and bringing it back down to CT. The guy who bought the Scarab is coming over from northern Jersey on Saturday to pick it up.

Unfortnately I dropped it off on Monday, it was winterized on Tuesday and the buyer contacted me Wednesday, so I do have to pay my winterization. Oh well, I'm just glad to deliver the boat this Saturday!

I saw the 288 in the classifieds. I am still not sold on the open bow. I guess i really need to check it out. I'm in the middle of a move and then I head to Key West, so I need to find a time to check it out.
