Sebago Lake

I'm looking for a house with a dock to rent on Sebago Lake for the week of the poker run . July 18 - 25th Thanks

If you can not find anything on Sabego then try Fran and Frank at Bayview Cabins. They have very nice docks and clean cabins. Get in touch with them soon because they do sell out early for the season. You can have a nice trip through the locks to get over to Sabego and back. It is a fairly short drive over to the event that evening. I used to stay there before I had my place.

Thanks for the reply, We just booked a house on the North west river. Do you go up for the run ?

Audiofn 04-27-2008 04:35 PM

I am up most weekends. I should be up for the run. Some times I hitch a ride in Biggus's boat. Can be a little rough in the Donzi!! :D

stay in the channels on the northwest river the center is only a foot deep and full of logs. the outer edges along the docks are deep water. and you have to go all the way around to get to the marina its not full circle.

DMAX 04-29-2008 04:29 PM

Yeah, the owner was telling me it's pretty shallow in the middle. From the pics it looks like a pretty nice spot though. Is there gas at that marina ?

full service marina. And actually one of the cheaper for fuel. you have to entice people to drive into the river. Who did you rent from? our old camp was on the north west river.

The guys name is Rob , I guess this is his first rental season. Sounded like a good guy over the phone. Gonna go up this weekend and check it out.

What kind of Donzi are you running ? I was at the poker run last year with two sweet 16's and a bright yellow 22 classic / blackhawk. the 22 was real nice ,502 mag for power.

Rob Hansen? on the North west river road?

Were you the one in the 22'? If so that was quite a show you put on. That thing was in the air for most of the Thunder Run. I was in the red scarab you were running with until my starboard engine decided to fill up with water from a cracked head!!!

I saw all three Donzi's running side by side in Jordan Bay later in the day, something you don't see very often.

I'm sure you didn't see us during the run since we were just coming into the gut and you were already at the leap. All we could see was your vapor. (Very cool)

I have a 18 2+3 with a big block in it. It is original from the factory that way so I do not like to beat on it that much. It will run hard in big stuff but like I said I don't want to get it all cracked up. If you go up the river into the pond it is the one that is on the lift on the left hand side just after the locks.

No, I got the WASTED D'OH FORMULA, but those we're the guys I was with. I went for a ride in that thing before the thunder run, real nice. He's also got a Formula 353 he might bring this time instead of the 22.

Sorry to here about the engine problems , I'm in the middle of a couple of rebuilds now and the way things have been going I (might ) be ready by the run.
