Sounds like a fun challenge. July 20- 22nd I will be there. The 21st is all day classroom. We will have three boats to run on the 22nd. A 32 Skater, a Forumula Fastech, and your Talon. Hopefully more.

It looks like I might have an extra day to kill before I have to leave for Detroit, so I can probably stay over a little longer.
I really want to make it over for the Sunsation Rally on Lake St Clair.

What exactly can we expect to be covered at a class like this one?

The Ultra Performance Course consists of a full day in a classroom enviroment covering eleven structured lesson plans.

Embedded in the lesson plans are terminal performnace objectives which ultimelty must be demonstrated on the water in your boat to become certified.

Whats covered, Basic Safety, Insurance, Boating while Intoxivcated, V-Hull Characteristics, Cat Characteristics, evolustion of design, Hydrodynamics, Turning Techniques, Collision Avoidance, Human Factors engineering, Human Behavioral Response, Trailering, Loss of Situational Awareness, plus a lot more and a final exam. Then we go on the water on the second day. Call for more info.

What the cost for the school?????

It's about $2500 for the Ultra course and I think $ 1500 for the Performance course . They have a better break down on their website. I was talking to Brad about it last week.I'm very interested in the the course but I not sure in I can swing it right now .Let me know if you interested

I wont get to AC until late afternoon. Flights out of Austin to AC are tough. Let me know what your schedule is I can always stay over an extra day or two.
