Donzin, this sounds great Im real excited for an organized event come to the lake.

The permit gets filed with DEC on Friday. We then meet with the LGPC and the Mayors office to review the event specifics. As soon as we're all on the same page, I'll begin lining up sponsors and posting more specific information.
Next big step will be insurance. Any one out there know of any leads?
In the meantime, if people have ideas about what could be done to make it as enjoyable as possible, please feel free to let me know. I've already received some very good input. PM's are also welcome.

Bob could help you out with the insurance ins and outs but I think if you can partner up with an organizing group you can piggyback on their policy.

I know a lot of the guys will run on Sunday as well....will the permit attained give us a "free pass" on the noise restriction for the weekend or limited just to Sat.?
