Not to be a downer.....but man has this weather in the CT area SUCKED or WHAT!!!! Where the heck is the blue sky and warm weather????? It feels like we live in Seattle, instead on CT!

The crappy thing is that even during the week you can't take a "evening" cruise to catch a good sunset and grab a bite somewhere. It seems like it's been cool, cloudy and raining for the whole month of June!!! Ok, I'll stop my bitc&n, but we only have so many weeks of "good weather" in our area anyway, and these damn toys ain't cheap!!! lol Hopefully soon...:drink:

as of 7:28..weather on the 8's...WTF...rain and T storms for 6 more days....as i drove over the bridge in e. haddam yesterday at 5:00, the sun was out, the river glassy...and i was haulin a washer and dryer...not the sutphen....did i already say WTF?.....let's start a "guys angry with the weather" thread..:drink:, oh well, i'm on vacation for 10 weeks in 10 days...i really shouldn't complain..:evilb::D:D

The weather sucks but we run anyways!:D Went out today for a little run. Hopefully the weather gets better next weekend for the NYC poker run.

You must be a school teacher....my fiancee is a teacher and is looking forward to her 10 weeks off as well! :drink:

Dropped my boat in and it wouldnt start. I guess it was an omen as it started raining right after I got it on the trailer.

Went out in Middletown yesterday afternoon, harbor park. Met up with another Carrera at bout 4:00 PM.........Didnt get home til 11:30 PM !!!! We had something in common......... Vodka! Going out today, sitting here at kitchen table, blue sky coming out . Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:evilb:

yesterday here was a great day, sunny, warm, no rain, just great. i had 2 parties to attend, so i didnt even get to see my boat. today looks like 70% chance of rain, and its already showered about 3-5 times. looks like no boat for me again.
all next week besides tuesday look like crap. thursday i leave for bike week with no closed trailer so my bike that i spent 20 hours+ cleaning should look real good one i get there. even if i throw it in my truck, all my chrome will need to be repolished. not only that, but even on land i need a long sleve shirt!! this sucks

Had a full boat and a day at Claudios planned but it was a crappy day so I went mowing instead and caught up on a few accounts, theres always next weekend

as of now, next weekend looks like a wash out. and being bike week and im going, it will rain. im sure.

Today overall was an OK boat day. Headed across to Claudios and spent the afternoon hanging out there. Could have been warmer but still ok.

We were going to head out, but opted to cruise in the Vette instead.... it has heat!!!! hahaa:grinser010:

i was going to take my vett for a ride. i cleaned her up, shined the tires, turned the nitrous bottle on (just in case) ran in the house to lock up. while walking out of the house. it started to mist, then rain. it was a nice cruz 10 feet out of the garage, then 10 feet back in:angry-smiley-038:

Claudios had a photographer taking pictures today for their website. They took a couple pictures of my buddy and my boat tied together.

you just want to be on there website sad. Was a decent day of boating, beats stayin home! Smooth in the sound.

Wish I had made it out spent the day hanging 1/4 panels on my 69 firebird convertible so someday I can cruise with heat.LOL

Everyone has to have three 69 firebirds and a sutphen dont they?LOL



It was crappy here in simsbury most of the day anyway.

My boat is on the trailer also. The motivational levels are at an all time low.

Need some motivation.. Toughest time of year for me, with all that is going on, kids sports, etc... Gotta get focused!

Hey Steve, just saw this. I didnt know of anything going on yesterday. Boat is at my mechanics and yesterday was my fiance's bridal shower so I was on present pick-up duty!

So I guess it wasn't a bad weekend for me to be gone and not be able to boat. Hopefully there's some good weather this weekend!!

Pete no biggy like everyone else I only got about an hour if that in anyways.

Boat is down right now. I will be at NYC on my brothers Fountain this weekend though. W/end after that I have a wedding. Maybe I will get to boat by 4th of July!

If your boat has to be down I guess now is the time for it with all this F@^#ing rain. Hopefully the weather guy's will be wrong and I'll see you at the run on Saturday ...Hopefully you'll be back on the water soon.

We're coming over on Friday no matter what. If we cant run the boats, we will have to find something else to do I guess:food-smiley-009:

My boat has a new starter & new trim switch...just waiting on a TPS sensor, then hopefully we are good for the rest of the summer.

Looks like this weekend is a crappy washout as well.....not going to rain all weekend, but far from boating weather!!! Looks like mid next week it warms up into the 80's ...... about F'n time..... :eek:

Watched weather report this morning.........not a total wash out ! The weather is far from perfect, but I will find a way to get out and make the best of it. Probably Sunday.

Myself & Mahopac marine guy's are all loaded up for tommorrows NYC run we will be leaving peekskill around 8am. My goggles are all ready with a fresh coat of Rain X .The only way I'm not heading down is if hailing , sleeting or snowing... and maybe if it raining really really hard.

OOO i did not wait today. I seen the sun with a couple of clouds in the sky and took the opp to go out. The sound was beautiful.. We went to chelsea piers and had lunch over the east river. We did hit some big wake but it was fun>>>..

Frank, did you have the lobster roll at The Blue Oar today? I became sick today. Soar throat, sinus headache,all stuffed up now.BUT!!!, a few drinks on Sunday may help the cause. Inside or outside, doesnt matter to me............
