Pavilion Poker Run?
 

Anybody know if there is one this year?
I have not heard anything about it, and nothing listed on the web site. Usually there are posters at the Pavilion and HP but nada this year.

Im not sure, but would be interested in going if it was happening.:party-smiley-004:

That thing was a joke. Shouldnt be called a poker run.

How about we call it something plain and simple, like, BEER RUN !! Im in !

You have a point, it was loosely orgainized. But it was a day of running as hard and fast as you wnted with a bunch of other boats, and the $500.00 I walked away with didn't hurt

I have been told that this run is going to happen once again. I have to confirm the details but it looks like it is going to be on either 9/19 or 9/20.

It's Sep 19th. And...I agree it is a joke. If we were planning our own "beer run" as Kev says I'd gladly do that. If not its still something to do...

the glen cove run is that weekend...anyone know if they're still running across to bridgeport? there are a bunch of local launch ramps from which to easilly access the sights...
jeff and i made the trek last year...nice run from branford...even easier from west haven or milford...
we could do a run to the run...then a run to get lunch...but there is a restaurant in b-port harbor.....check it out on maps.live.com....gives you an idea of the area...

Sept 19th...yes we go to Bridgeport, then to Oyster Bay/Cold Spring Harbor, then to Port Chester, NY and back to Glen Cove.
Why don't you come play with us...the entry fee is only $300.00 and you get 2 hands in the game with that entry fee. We give cash prizes!
If you can not/or choose not to make all the checkpoints, you still get to pick your cards at the finish line, so you get 5 cards...anybody can win.

I am just going to do the run. Go for a nice cruise with other boats but not participate in the actual "poker" part.
If anyone wants to meet up and go watch the festivities let me know.

Give me enough notice cause I put the race car back together and will be trying to get some track time in before the LVD closes for the year.

I cant go because Im going to be in reno for the air races but i havent missed this event in like 5 years and I always have a good time. Its not a real poker run with drivers meetings, regulations, etc......but it is more of a bar hop with people racing in between, which I think is more fun anyway :drink:

Has anyone seen any ads, flyers, etc. for the pavilion run?
