Sooooo will there be an officail annoucement of time, location and the plan for the day

Im not sure if there we be an official announcement or not.Its just a fun run so really its just a bunch of us meeting up out on the river. I am personally launching out of Cannon Ball Marina in Haverstraw NY at about 9:00 Am. I have about six or seven other boats doing the same thing. I only want to head out early because by 6:00pm its dark already and I would like to get a full day in and be loaded on the trailer before sunset. Now as far as heading south or noth????? I have mixed opinions in my group already,some want the city,some want fall foliage. I think we may have to split into two groups,go different directions and then meet back up in the middle for late lunch....Or we can all head north for a bit them all head south to city like the last fun run???? Hopefully Charlie or Tom have a game plan and will let us know something soon so we can make plans.

Date is the 10th. I was over at Mahopac Marine yesterday. Tom will post the details soon but it sounds like fun day is planned!

what hotel is in the area ??

Their are a few in Tarrytown on 119 and rte 9 . Which is about 20 minutes south of where they are meeting for the run.

I just returned from a day out on the river. I spoke with the guys over at the marina and they are welcoming any one who needs to launch there boat there.They have two ramps and two lifts and the launch runs about 25.00 and parking for about 100 boats. Also there is a bar and restaurant on site and the restaurant owner has a DJ scheduled and is hoping a few will hang and party and eat with him after our day of boating. They have 60 slips just for the restaurant and about 25 transient slips available.They can also accomadate over night secure storage if some one needs to leave their boat and go to a hotel,just call in advance.

We're headed up from South Jersey! We plan on being on the road by 7-7:30 That should get us to Cannon Ball Marina by 10am at the very latest. We already got three rooms at the Budget Motor Inn out on Liberty Drive for Saturday night.
