Whats next?

Can you image paying 7 figures for lake front property and then being told you cannot have a deck on the boathouse?

How can that possibly have a negatve impact the lake?? It only impacts the eviornmentalist vision of what the lake should be.

Their vision is to make it as pristine as possible regardless of what the people want who live there. The economic cost of that change is irrelevant to them.

They won't be satisfied until all human development is gone and only canoes can be on the water...

BTW - I'm pretty sure not one regulator of the APA even lives in the park. What does that tell you??

Just love getting building permits in LG have meet regulations from town, county, LGPC, APA whats next!

For alot of the properties these boat house decks are the only flat space to hang out on. Regulations have gotten out of control. Now you know why its so hard to get a permit to reserect, or repair a boat house.

The PostStar ( the Glens Falls paper) has been running more articles on the APA. it really gives you a flavor for what these people are all about.

I am beginning to hate the place where I spent every single vacation while I was growing up...

I grew up vacationing on the lake too. I've been all over the world and there's no other place I'd rather be. For me, that makes it worth fighting for.

Don't hate the place - hate the BS politics of some narrow minded fools.

We need to keep the noise level high and push back.
