Harrisburg, PA

I'd like to launch my 47' Fountain near Harrisburg and run to the Chesapeak. Is this possible? Are there any launch ramps around there that are big enough for a 50' trailer?

i will have to check but i believe you would have to go south below rt 30. there is a wing dam above rt 30 and real shallow water right below it. by the time your done you might as well travel south a little more and put in near harve de grace. i believe the ramp near there will take a 50 ft trailer.

you will have to go to havre de grace md to launch, 2 dams and rocks the size of houses in between. also not that much further is ancor boats in noth east md and they handle that size and bigger at there ramp.

Anchor Marine ramp, is that the one next to the Goose? We'll be going out of there on the 29/30th. 32' red cat and white 27' Checkmate and maybe more?
