im tired of more hp to go faster. i would rather make the boat faster by making it more efficient. everybody says 10mph with surface drives is attainable. ive been talking to rik at arneson a little and he thinks it will work.

The cat thing is certainly hard to argue with for MPH.

I am going fast enough for my boat to be enjoyable to me. Theres always someone faster so I dont care to go any faster.

in all seriousness...to get down to the pavilion at 10 am...i have to be at the marina by 9 am which is 45 minutes away...that means i have to be up by 7 am to pack, put the beer on ice, etc...its gonna be a long day
