Any Boaters in the Cape Cod area
 

Anyone boat in the cape cod or buzzards bay area on this forum. Were to go besides the chartroom ?

Dont know if you have attended We have two local poker runs
one being Seaport inn in fairhaven Ma this is labor day weekend
and also Borden lite marina in fall river ma this is usually mid
august.

There are plenty of places just do not limit your self to Buzzards Bay. Were is your port of call?

Oaks Bluff and Edgertown are always a good time,and a decent ride. If you go into Woods Hole there is a small draw bridge that opens every half hour.You go under to a small harbor, usually plenty of dock space,$10 for the day if I remember. Shuckers is right there at the docks,but there are 10 or so other lunch spots within 5 minutes walking time. You can also go thru the canal and out past Sandy Neck then into Barnstable Harbor,tie up at Mattakeese Wharf and there is a restaurant similar to the Chart Room. You can hook up with my wife and I and also Candyman(Rich) and his wife(who are in Buttermilk Bay)in the spring,and do a few lunch runs. Any new people in the group are responsible for the bar tabs for the first season though! :party-smiley-004: Also heard of this place called Al's Tiki Bar,but never been.:party-smiley-004:



As Gerry said (Knot Right) the Poker runs are a must.

We boat out of Falmouth Harbor. Where's home for you?

I keep my boat in a slip o buttermilk bay but wanna get out more this year with my new boat

Come on down to Fall River Naraganessett Bay area we have a ton of great sports and good people. Watch out for Knot Rite though word to the wise is all.

Here we go: Shuckers and Captain Kidd in Woods Hole, free tie up at bulkhead before bridge or under the bridge at Shuckers marina. Raw Bar and Flying Bridge in Falmouth, free tie up at the north bulkhead. Down the Hatch at Earls Marina in Fairhaven/West island, free tie up at Earls Marina. Fathoms Bar and Grill in New Bedford harbor, free tie up at Fathoms marina. Seaport Inn and Marina in New Bedford harbor, free tie up at Seaport marna.
