Scot do you know where you are going to keep the new boat? Are you planning on trailering?

I hear you Frank. I'm intentionally trying not to just rush into something just to have a boat for the first warm day of spring. I'd rather hold out for something I really want and get it at a decent price rather than buy something I'm going to end up selling 6 months from now (and possibly take equally as long or longer to sell) and lose my shirt on it.

Honestly, I've had a sale pending for the past couple of weeks. We were just waiting for the owner to fix a couple of items before the sale, but I think he forgot to take his meds this weekend and out of the blue he made up completely new terms with our deal which added significantly to the price. I'd rather not get into the details yet, but it looks like I'm back on the hunt. Earlier I promised him I'd give feedback here regarding our transaction (good or bad) so you'll hear all about it soon. The ****ty thing is I missed a boat in the mean time I would have liked to have bought. Oh well.

It looks like my PR person Kevin already answered your questions, but yes, I will keep whatever I buy at my house. I live right next to the boat ramp so obviously trailering isn't a big deal since I can practically see the ramp from my house. But for this reason, any boat I buy pretty much needs to have an aluminum trailer, or I have to add replacing the trailer to the overall cost of the deal.

Anyway, back to the hunt!

Justin, I wish I had 5775'S !!!! That some' b!tch would run 85 no problem! I think you meant 572's and no Im not concerned about the river up my way(Middletown). I AM concerned about Old Saybrook area as the police there a lookin for boats like mine. But, it is what it is. I can shut 1 engine down through OS if need be. If I get a ticket, Ill pay it . ....Why, did you think it was loud? :)

Oh, PS, Im still waiting for Scot to post the video he took when we all were at Harbor Park....in November! C'mon Scot, it would be nice to see some running video of my boat since its only been in the water once!
