Ok Justin, I will take the two extra groups of girls. Divorce is very common now- a- days, I guess its like trading my forty year old wife in for two twenties!:drink: Right?

How about a Gladiator? I have never been in one so I can not comment on the ride but they are slick looking.

I too love the looks of them, but no cabin and sit down... I'd rather have a cat in that case! I think they are the nicest looking Cigs though!

Modded 500's and side by side... Staggered is the way to go in a Glad. They will work on price though as I under stand it.

Sick Stinger 02-11-2011 09:32 AM

Are you going to by a boat or just comment on everyone and waste all of our time. Might as well get a sail boat at this point. A friend of mine has 14 hobie cat for under 1K seems to fit your range of price yet hopefully not break the bank

SS930 02-11-2011 10:07 AM

Mike,
I don't recall starting or even asking for anyone to start this thread. I certainly dont recall asking for your help, do you? I must have missed this part. But to answer your question (not that I owe you jack-sh!t), I already have a boat, and didnt realize I had to buy another the first time someone pointed out one for sale... just to make you happy. But yes Mike, I do plan on purchasing another one, when I feel like I've found something I want... not something you suggest I buy. I also didn't realize I needed to be in a rush to do so in the middle of winter or that I had to spend whatever you decide I need to spend on it. Or that you needed to be the one that decided how much I spend on it. Furthermore, I didn't realize what I do or buy was such a big concern to you. If so, you might want to reconsider your priorities.

Thank you for all your all so helpful contributions Mike, but from this point forward, I'll save you all the hard work and let you know I don't need any more of your help. Thank you.

BTW, I already have a H16. I'd suggest you go out on one sometime, they are a lot of fun when the wind is really kicking! Then again, a big rolling cool guy like yourself probably wouldn't be caught dead on a $800 blow boat, so I can understand if you have no interest in them. ;)

Guys, Mike and I are good, sorry no more spit balls. Please feel free to continue posting boats. I can't say I need anyone's help looking for a boat, but I know I've enjoyed this thread as I'm sure other people looking for a boat have! Whether I'm looking for a boat or not, I always enjoy looking at what's out there.... Obviously you guys do too! Please continue on.

i crawled all over that thing in the middle of nowhere in central fla. last spring. it fell off its lift in a hurricane years ago and then sat outside with holes in the sides etc.....i could have bought it with the 6's and motors for $30K but it was too far gone.

As someone pointed out, have you talked with Scott? He takes a lot of trade-ins, and has a decent selection of inventory to trade against... You're boat is super clean so I'm sure he'd take it and has has a lot of Fountains that are constantly coming and going. I guess the big question is, what would he give you for your boat...

Doesn't look like you're going to be getting that Z06 anytime soon! :D

I've talked to Scott numerous times.....and he's giving me crap for my boat IMO. I know I'm going to lose money....but I just can't afford to lose throw away money. Time will tell boys! That Z-06 option is looking more positive!

Trade-ins are a tough pill to swallow IMO. Some people dont think twice about it, they just want the other vehicle and will accept $0.20 on the dollar and sign the paper. I tend to agree with you Jay, I just couldn't do it.

I think your best bet would be to just put your boat on the market (if you do truly want another boat) and see what happens, but be realistic on the price if you want it to move.

Spring is right around the corner and people are now starting too buy again coming out of this sluggish economy and after a long cold winter. Your boat is really clean, a pretty desirable make/model, and a nice size that's big enough to not get beat to death and small enough to trailer with ease. If you price it realistically, I would think your boat should sell pretty quickly. If you want top dollar for it, you'll likely sit on it for a long time. Remember, there are some great deals out there to be had, but you might have to accept a little less for your boat than you think it's worth in order to get into another. It's all relative...

Agree. I'm going throw it in Boatrader and Iboats.com and see what happens. I'm not going to bother putting it in the OSO classifieds....as I got no replies from it the last time I had it in. If it sells it sells......no bigger in the great scheme of life! :drink:
