I know someone will jump on this post so it might as well be me. Just for fun Dan( looking for your opinion no ball breaking) in fact anyone can do this as well. Rank the following boats Outerlimites ,Sutphen, Fouintain, Formula, Hustler, Cigarette, Active Thunder. Use the following for your criteria.
1. All out performance 2. Build and rigging quality 3. Curb appeal 4. Fit and finish 5. Resale 6. Desireablity Everyone can do it and no bickering 1. Cigarette/Outerlimits 2. Active Thunder 3. Hustler 4. Formula 5. Sutphen 6. Fountain |
if sutphen is on the list then apache/powerplay surely have to be included
heres my list (assuming were talking only vee bottoms): 1. Outerlimits (nobody is doing the stuff they are doing right now) 2. Apache (if i couldnt afford a new OL, I would be riding an apache wave crusher) 3. Powerplay (ageless lines, tough, fast, good do everything type boat. would love "cant touch this" a 38 w/1200 cobras 120mph with AC and genny) 4. Cigarette (always up there on a list like this) 5. Hustler (they built a couple arneson and #6 boats so it puts them ahead of AT for me) 6. Active thunder (wouldnt want a bravo boat so this hurts AT) 7. fountain (the honda of boats) 8. sutphen (hate the way they look like theyre 100 years old) 9. formula (wouldnt be caught dead in a boat with a windshield) |

post yours and a reason behind each one.........and to be honest most people who own Powerplays are the people who bought a couple brand name boats IE: cig, fountain, formula and then ended up owning a PP in the end
|
1. All out performance (Outerlimits)
2. Build and rigging quality (Powerplay/Outerlimits) 3. Curb appeal (Outerlimits) 4. Fit and finish (Cigarette/Active thunder) 5. Resale (Apache/Outerlimits/Cigarette) 6. Desireablity (Apache/Outerlimits) |
I'm not getting dragged into this game!
