Question about noise ordinance in LI
 

Is there a noise ordinance in the Hamptons specifically in Sag Harbor, Noyac and Shelter Island area. Thanks

yes there is. they shouldnt stop u as long as u are going slow along any shoreline.

Yes, there is. Most NY places have it. So does CT. If you have mufflers you're ok, but don't go idle around unless you're pulling in, or rev up, or draw more attention to yourself then needed. If you have mufflers, you're usually ok. If not...kill an engine and idle in...

Always worked for me, usually get waves from the police and harbor patrol. They don't care as long as you're being polite.

Around Shelter they wont care and usually you'll just get nasty looks in Sag.

Sag can kiss my ass after what they did to me last year... ;)

It's funny, run around Shelter, you get thumbs up and flying fist pump and cheers, great/little peconic same thing...

Otherside, totally different animal..

I figured there had to be especially Sag Harbor there so tight.
