Hahahahaha, you crack me up. ....For the price of freshening(Bearings and seals) your out board lowers ONLY, you can freshen a WHOLE big block Chevy! Just another reason we all like inboards! Haha :lolhit:
You can re-ring, bearing, seal, buy gasket kits and timing chains, yank the motors, reinstall, buy all new hoses cause you F'd them all up taking it apart and its not worth not changing them while your in there, etc for $1200.00 thats a STEAL! BTW next time I have an IO boat Im gonna bring it to you and have BOTH my BBC 's redone for $1200.00 since you made it so clear thats all it costs In fact I think you should extend that invitation to everyone on the board!:bsflag: |

I know its early but is anyone goin to Block this weekend? I'm heading over saturday night i think. I usually anchor in Old Harbor but I have a feeling space will be really tight in there by saturday. Will probably try out the salt pond this time, but that makes getting to shore interesting (especially with girls).

Craig I was there yesterday and people are already showing up. Be careful in New Harbor in the anchorage area the bottom is very sandy and the anchors drag. I try not to drop anchor there but if you do call the launch they will bring you back and forth to the boat.

Great, thanks. Maybe we'll just go for the day. I know it's going to be a $hitshow over there which is a double-edged sword. Will be a really good time and a pain in the ass at the same time

Another reason I like to get Outboard boats Yeah outboards are cheap until you need so many to make the power of 1 big block. There is over $5k of props here. |
