Okay, I talked with several places. Most have a 3 night min. for next weekend, but they also told me to give them a call the night before or that AM and said they expect to have room for several boats for just Sat. night... although it might be rafting.

There's also the option to get in at the town moorings. They said we would want to get there before noon if we want those. There's also the option of renting private moorings.

Based on this, if folks are okay with possibly rafting, it sounds like we should be able to find a place to stay.


Worse case, we go over for the day and toss anchore off of Balards and swim in! :drink:

i say the following weekend.

There are only a handful of town moorings (20 I think) and those are gone on a regular weekend by Friday at lunch time. There might be some hope that some people will haul their boats withe hurricane coming and then not just put them back in for what's left of the season. IMO that's really the only shot of anything substantial happening as far as space goes. Time will tell!!!
